These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Bhagavad Gita: Audio Shlok ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Licence to use the App

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not sell, rent, sub-license, redistribute, copy, modify, or commercially exploit the App or any part of it.

You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to discover the source code or work around the way the App functions, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

2. Bhagavad Gita content

The App provides verses (shlokas) from the Bhagavad Gita, including audio recordings intended to help users read and listen to the verses.

The Bhagavad Gita is an ancient Hindu scripture and the underlying ancient text is in the public domain. The specific presentation, translations, audio recordings, artwork, software, and other materials included in the App may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

The App's content is provided for devotional, educational, cultural, and personal reading and listening purposes.

3. Audio playback

The App includes audio for the Bhagavad Gita verses. Audio playback may depend on your device, operating system, available storage, network connection, and other technical conditions.

We do not guarantee that audio playback will always be uninterrupted or available on every device or operating-system version.

You may listen to the audio provided through the App for your personal use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, publicly distribute, or commercially exploit the App's audio recordings without appropriate permission.

4. No religious or professional advice

The App is intended as a devotional and educational resource. It is not intended to provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice.

Any interpretation, meaning, translation, or explanatory material presented in the App is provided for general informational and devotional purposes. Users should use their own judgment when applying religious or philosophical teachings to their personal circumstances.

5. Accuracy of content

We make reasonable efforts to provide the Bhagavad Gita verses and associated audio accurately. However, differences may exist between editions, translations, pronunciations, interpretations, or traditions.

We do not guarantee that every spelling, pronunciation, translation, transliteration, interpretation, or other content in the App will be free from errors or will correspond to every traditional or published version of the Bhagavad Gita.

6. Advertising

If the App displays advertisements, advertisements may be supplied by third-party advertising providers. We do not select which individual advertisements appear, and the presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement of the product or service it promotes.

Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not use the App to copy, reproduce, redistribute, modify, extract, or commercially exploit its software, audio recordings, artwork, or other protected materials except where expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

The App's software, interface, design, artwork, logos, audio recordings, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to the App developer and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

The name and underlying text of the Bhagavad Gita have a long historical and religious tradition and are not claimed as an original creation of the App developer. Any particular translation, transliteration, audio recording, artwork, or presentation used in the App may have separate rights associated with it.

9. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the App will operate without interruption or error, that all audio will always be available, or that every feature will work with every device or version of the operating system.

Device limitations, operating-system updates, technical problems, or other circumstances outside our control may affect the availability or functionality of the App.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including loss of data or interruption of service.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the consumer protection law of your country that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Availability and changes to the App

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. Updates may be required to maintain compatibility with changes to iOS or other underlying technologies.

We may also add, remove, or modify verses, audio, translations, artwork, or other content in future versions of the App.

12. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be revised from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. The date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last updated.

Continuing to use the App after changes to these Terms means that you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live.
