Bhagavad Gita: Audio Shlok lets you read the verses of the Bhagavad Gita and listen to their audio. This page covers the most common questions and problems. If your question is not answered here, email narender.mobirizer@gmail.com and you will get a reply from the person who built the app.

1. What you need

  • An iPhone or iPad
  • A supported version of iOS or iPadOS
  • Headphones or speakers if you want to listen privately or at a higher volume

No account or sign-up is required to read or listen to the Bhagavad Gita.

2. Reading the Bhagavad Gita

Open the App and select a chapter to begin. You can browse the verses within each chapter and read them directly on your device.

Tap a verse to view its available content and use the audio controls when you want to listen to the verse.

3. How do I listen to a shlok?

  1. Open Bhagavad Gita: Audio Shlok.
  2. Select the chapter you want to read.
  3. Select the verse (shlok) you want to hear.
  4. Tap the Play button to start the audio.
  5. Use the playback controls to pause or continue listening.

You can use your iPhone or iPad's normal volume controls to adjust the listening volume.

4. The audio is not playing

If you tap Play and do not hear anything, try these steps:

  • Check your device volume. Press the volume-up button on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Check Silent Mode. Make sure your device is not configured to silence the audio you are trying to play.
  • Check Bluetooth. If headphones, a speaker, or another Bluetooth device is connected, the audio may be playing there instead of through the device's built-in speaker.
  • Try another verse. This helps determine whether the problem affects one audio recording or all audio.
  • Close and reopen the App. A temporary playback problem can sometimes be fixed by restarting the App.

5. The audio stops or pauses

Audio playback can sometimes be interrupted by iOS, another application, a phone call, Bluetooth connection changes, or other system activity.

If playback stops unexpectedly, return to the App and press Play again. If the problem continues, close and reopen the App.

6. Can I listen without an account?

Yes. The App does not require you to create an account or sign in. You can use the reading and audio features without registering.

7. Does the App use my microphone?

No. The App does not need your microphone to play the Bhagavad Gita audio. It does not require you to record your voice in order to use the App.

8. Do I need an internet connection?

The main reading and audio features are designed to work with the content provided by the App. Some features, such as advertisements or other online services, may require an internet connection.

If a feature that normally requires an internet connection is not working, check that your iPhone or iPad has a working Wi-Fi or mobile-data connection.

9. The App is not responding

If the App becomes unresponsive, first wait a few seconds and try again. If the problem continues, close the App and open it again.

You can also restart your iPhone or iPad and make sure you are using the latest available version of the App.

10. Audio or verse content appears incorrect

The Bhagavad Gita has been preserved and presented through many different editions, traditions, translations, pronunciations, and interpretations.

If you believe that a verse, pronunciation, transliteration, translation, or audio recording contains an error, please contact us and tell us the chapter and verse number. We will review the reported issue.

11. The App closes unexpectedly

If the App closes unexpectedly, try the following:

  • Open the App again.
  • Restart your iPhone or iPad.
  • Make sure your device has sufficient available storage.
  • Check the App Store for an available update.
